The Young Knives - Terra Firma

Hailing from the sleepy market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, The Young Knives are back with a brand new single 'Terra Firma' on Transgressive Records.

'Terra Firma' is the first single from their follow-up to last year's 'Voices Of Animals & Men' LP - which has recently been nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize.

Lightspeed Champion - Galaxy Of The Lost

Lightspeed Champion release their debut single 'Galaxy Of The Lost' on the 30th July via Domino Records.

Lightspeed Champion is the new solo project of singer/songwriter Dev, who's former group Test-Icicles split controversially in 2006.

The group are set to play the Underage and Shoreditch festivals before heading out on a UK headlining tour in October. Tickets are available from here.

Late Of The Pier - Bathroom Gurgle

Late Of The Pier have had a growing buzz since the release of their debut single 'Space and the Woods' back in March.

The electro-rock group are set for big things with the release of their next single 'Bathroom Gurgle'. The track was produced by DJ Erol Alkan and is due to be released on the 26th August through Moshi Moshi.

Late Of The Pier are on tour throughout the summer including appearances at the Carling Weekender and Victoria Park's Underage Festival.

Alex Gopher - The Game

French electro producer Alex Gopher releases a new single 'The Game' from his new self-titled band.

Alex Gopher has collaborated on the new record with ex-Orange partners Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin from Air, as well as French singer Helena Noguerra and guitarist Olivier Libaux from Nouvelle Vague.

The single is backed with remixes from XFM's Eddy Temple-Morris and The Bloody Beetroots.
